We also work to help educate the community about mental health and drug addiction, as well as how to navigate county resources to obtain necessary help in times of need.
Medina County ADAMH serves as the voice of advocacy and works to reduce stigma of addiction and mental health concerns within our community.
We work to fund a system of Medina County service agencies that provide mental health and substance abuse prevention, intervention and treatment to people who may not be able to access them due to a lack of resources.

MISSION OF THE MEDINA COUNTY ADAMH BOARD:
The Medina County Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Board’s mission is to assure the availability of high quality alcohol, drug addiction, and mental health services to all Medina County residents through planning (assessing needs and resources, and determining priorities); purchasing cost effective services to the extent resources are available; coordinating services; and evaluating these services.
The Board of Directors for the Medina County ADAMH Board is a public body made up of 14 county citizens who are appointed to the Board by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services and the County Commissioners. The ADAMH Board provides oversight and direction of multi-faceted, behavioral healthcare community programs and services. The Board’s providers offer treatment, prevention and education. In order to do this, the ADAMH Board identifies needs, funds, monitors, and evaluates mental health and substance abuse services. These services are available to all citizens of Medina County, regardless of their ability to pay.
